“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed, and is, thereby, a true manifestation of what one feels about life in its entirety…”
– Ansel Adams
Last year I had the pleasure of photographing the French family in their Beaudesert home. Reflecting on these images, I am reminded of how passionately I feel about capturing authentic family moments.
In my heart I am always shooting with the long term in mind, particularly for the children, so that in 10, 20, 50 years time these images can be windows into what it was like when they were a child, to remember happy moments of fun and play and cuddles and feeding the fish with Dad; to capture the love their parents have for them.
Thanks Matt and Krystie for inviting me to capture your family life and love. I hope these images provide windows into happy memories for many years to come.
